A quick lesson on basic theatrical terminology
By

James J. Miles III

In December of 2020, for the University of South Carolina's Masters in Instructional Design and Technology, EDET 722 Instructional Design and Assessment, I designed a prototype instructional unit for first-time theater performers. The purpose of this unit is to prepare first-time theater production participants for the world of theatrical production. The unit would explain what to expect in their upcoming production by providing them with commonly used terms throughout the production process.

This design is published  below in two forms; the original PowerPoint and a web-based version. Posting this unit to the internet was done for a different course in the University of South Carolina's Master in Instructional Design and Technology, EDET 703, Design and Development Tools II.

Please select which version would work best for you.
