My style guide as scene here was an early iteration of where I was going with my website. I considered it a jumping-off point. Although some portions of the style guide remained, I decided to edit myself and keep what worked and cut what didn't.
The assessment and subsequent changes to my style guide were done on the advice of my instructor, feedback from my peers, and a self-reflection as to the type of site I wanted to present as my portfolio. Being aware that maybe your first attempt is correct and only after evaluation can you make positive changes is at the heart of almost any instructional design model.
My site map represents my first attempt at creating a flow chart for my website. I used it as a basis for the navigation needed to build out my portfolio.
Although this reflects my initial attempt at my website. After feedback from peers, instructor, and my attempts at navigating my site. I came up with a more straightforward navigation method as present on the site now.
